Reimbursement Program

We are excited to announce our Young Rider Reimbursement Program as part of our commitment to fostering an encouraging and educational environment for developing lifelong eventers. This program supports young riders by helping cover costs for clinics, lessons, and Recognized events in Area II. Enjoy discounted membership fees, discounts on clinics, and chances to win vouchers for division winners at our shows!

Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for reimbursement, participants must meet the following criteria:

1. Be under 21 years of age during the competition year.
2. Be a member in good standing at the time of the request.
3. Complete a minimum of six (6) volunteer hours for Blue Ridge Eventing.
4. Submit a fully completed Reimbursement Request form.

How It Works

• Riders pay all associated fees for their chosen clinic, lesson, or event and keep proof of payment.
• Submit a narrative explaining the knowledge gained and how it will help you grow as a rider.
• Complete the Reimbursement Request form and submit it.

Upon submission, the form will be emailed to both the Board of Directors and the applicant. The request will be reviewed and voted on at the next Board meeting.

Reimbursement Details

• Approved riders will be reimbursed up to $200 per year.
• Reimbursement checks will be mailed by the Treasurer within 30 days of approval.
